New Layouts for New Challenges

I've done a few more challenge layouts and it's only early in May! Here's the first one.  This one is a series of photos I took of a cheeky little chipmunk (yes I spelled it wrong on the layout - the original is fixed! LOL). The little guy figured my sister's hand held more treasures than it did.  We encountered him on top of Hurricane Ridge in the state of Washington, USA last summer.  I used the new GDS Designers Collab kit called *A Mother's Worth* and available at the GDS store for FREE with your purchase of $10 worth of products.  A REAL DEAL!!  Anyway.. this layout was done for the speed scrap on May 2.

This layout I did for the colour challange. The palette was based on the kit *In Spring* by geniaBeana, available in the GDS store.  Since I had the kit, I thought I may was well do a layout! The layout features my Mom when she was about 16 or 17.

This is also an awesome kit and I LOVE the colours!!

The last layout I did for the afore mentioned GDS May Collab Kit Challenge, and it features a photo of my Mom and Me when she visited in 2004.

Earth Day Mini

This is a layout I've done with Dylabel Designs' contribution to the GDS April Collab Kit.  You can get it by purchasing $10 of product in the GDS stores!

I've made a Quick Page freebie from it:

GDS Collab Kit is AWESOME

I got the GDS March Collab Kit and it is sooo packed with goodies! I've done a few layout for different challenges.  This one is for the Collab Kit Challenge and features my son and his wife on their first anniversary camping at Carmanah Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC, Canada:

The second layout I did with the same kit was for the Spiritiual Challenge at GDS and features my Mom... showing off her sense of humour:

The challenge was to scrap about how or what made us feel *loved*.  Well my Mom always makes me feel loved.  She is always there like the rock of Gibraltar! Even when we don't agree on things, I've never doubted her love.

Layout Done for Speed Scrap & Chat Challenge at GDS

This is a layout I did for Marshmella's very first Speed Scrap and Chat at GDS on Feb. 28 2010.  We had a fun time chatting and the layouts produced were amazing!  The theme was anything *Spring* Here's mine:

I used the GDS April 2009 Collab kit which was loaded with heaps of great Spring items.  If you haven't checked out the calendar of events at GDS, you're really missing a lot of super great challenges not to mention the awesome friendly community there! I participated in a speed scrap today at GDS hosted by Val from geniaBeana Scraps and this is my layout using the GDS January Collab kit.  It features photos of my cousin Marie.  I think it's a pretty good one for a speed scrap!
