New Layout I've Done With *In My Backyard Add-on* Kit by Studio 4 Designs

Just wanted to share with you another layout I did using *In My Backyard Add-on* and *Take-Two* Word Art by Studio 4 Designworks available at her store at GDS.  You can have a look at the previews 2 posts down.  This is an amazing bundle of kits and is so versatile!! 

This is my son Dean and his wife Annie. They camped in the park in 2007 on their 1st wedding anniversary and we all went back and did the hike again in 2009.  It's an amazing hike!!  The journaling reads: They call the tree Cheewhat. It is the largest living Western Red cedar tree (Thuja plicata - thoo-yuh ply-kay-tuh) in Canada. Located on Vancouver Island, close to Nitinat Lake. The tree has a wood volume of nearly 450 cubic meters. Measures 64' 10" in circumference and 55.5 m/182 ft in height.. I could not see the top of this tree and had to take 4 photos to get it all. Amazing!!!!! It is approx. 3,300 years old. It is the second largest known tree of its type on the planet. The largest cedar is the Quinault Lake Cedar on the Olympic Peninsula over the Juan de Fuca Strait in WA.

I've Joined the Miss Mis Designs CT ! and New Layouts I've Done

I'm pleased to announce I've joined Miss Mis Designs Creative Team.  Misty has stock at 4 stores for you to choose from including My Life and Scrap, Digital Scrap Ink, Denim & Daises and Digi Scrap Mania.  I've got a few layouts to show you from a kit she's created called *Oh Baby Boy* which is available at all the stores!There are also labels, an alpha and Word Art to go with this kit.

I've done up a QP Freebie based on the second layout which I'll have available for you tomorrow.

I did a second layout based on the first one above with different colours for the colour challenge at GDS.  I've replaced the brown with a pastel green and yellow patterned paper and pastel green background paper. I'm not sure which I like best!! lol

My Life and Scrap BLOG TRAIN ! June 30th!! Wooo Woooo... Don't Miss It!!

MLAS (aka My Life and Scrap)  are doing a blog train starting JUNE 30th!! YAY, it's going to be so cool eeeehhhh hot...... LOL

The blogtrain consists of two parts a Summer Edition and a Winter Edition. Loads of designers joined in.

A Few Layouts I've Done Recently and a Freebie!

I've got a few things to share with you today.  I've done a few layouts, there's a few new releases and there's a freebie! So lets start with the new releases.  Cocotounette has had a few new template releases so here they are and they are FREE on her blog:

Now I have two freebies , one for today and one you'll have to come back tomorrow for.  It's a hybrid project sheet for *muffin top* decorations, which you can cut out or use a 2" punch on.  They can be attached to drink cups or party bags or make garlands out of them as well as attaching toothpicks to them and popping them into the muffins or cupcakes.  A real party theme going on here! ..
