Lyrical Challenge at GDS

Well I just had to take on the Lyrical Challenge at GDS, so that meant a slight deviation in my plans to only scrap my Mom this month.  Somehow I think I'll be forgiven :) .  We were to scrap a song that help us through troubled times.  I used JJ Scrapping's kit *Wind It Up* and the sketch is from a challenge on another site, but I can't recall which one.  If you know, please leave me a message.   Here's my entry:

I also put in my entry to the Photo Challenge at GDS.  The subject this month is macros.  My entry is here :

This poor bee was caught in a web and if you look closely there's a dew drop just about to fall off it.  And so nature goes....

Another Layout for Mom

Continuing with my month long tribute to my Mom, here's another layout.  I've used bits and pieces from the Daily Downloads at GDS.

I did this one for the style challenge and we were to use items from at least 3 different designers. I've listed the bits I've used on my gallery page which can be seen here .  I'll be posting more in the days to come.

May is the Month for MOTHERS! Let's all Celebrate MOTHERS Everywhere!

In honour of Mother's Day in May, I've decided to try to make all my layouts this month about my Mom.  I've started out with two layouts posted already and here is the third I've done for the GDS Junkie Challenge.  This one is at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary at the Gold Coast in Queensland.  We had a great time there!

I used HollyAnn Designs' *Sorbet Garden* bundle to create the layout. It's available at the GDS store.
